Introducing: Glo & Ray Make-Up

Introducing: Glo & Ray Make-Up

I might have been almost MIA recently, but I’m back – and my addiction to beauty products is getting worse (I mean, I don’t think it’s ‘worse’, but some people may…) Is that what an addict sound like? Anyway, I love to try new products – it’s always my favorite part. It’s like the Christmas of beauty products every time when discovering something new that you like. I heard about Glo & Ray through an old client of mine when they started stocking them, and after hearing great things from each team member – I immediately followed them on Instagram to keep my eyes out for what they were up to.

Make-Up

So first thing’s first… Have you seen how cute the packaging is? While so many brands are going for the same simplistic vibe, nothing gets old with a clean black look – and the gunmetal metallic boxing is right up my street. The lipsticks themselves are embossed with the brand logo, which is a super cute touch that sets it aside from just any lipstick.

The products themselves are really creamy, which for a matte lipstick is a winner since matte finishes tend to dry out your lips. If you’re looking for something less extreme than the liquid lipsticks, this is a great alternative. The colour itself applies quite sheer, however it’s definitely buildable so you can wear it exactly how you want to.

Next up is the new Rouge Stick Lip Pencils – described as the ‘perfect contour’ lip pencils. These have quickly become my faves as they’re so handy for on the go touch-ups, and perfect for that all-in-one product rather than carrying around a lip liner and a lipstick. The slanted end makes it great for perfecting the shape – plus, the product is super pigmented. I wore it the other day with my trusty old Oliver Peoples sunglasses and a vintage dress for that retro look, and I felt like Audrey Hepburn!
